Book Launch for “Sometimes…” THIS WEEKEND!

You know we carry beautiful books at Collage Collage – but this book might be the cutest one I’ve ever seen. “Sometimes…” is an adorable, self published book by Joanne Cheung. Reminding us all that we want to be different, and that’s ok as long as we remember who we are. Between this book and the Proctor and Gamble video about Moms this week, I’ve been a mess!

Joanne has travelled all the way from Ontario to join us for a launch and reading this weekend at the shop. Sunday 12-2. Come on over and pick up a copy!

12 Days of Christmas Warm + Fuzzy.

My goodness, the cutest stuffed animals arrived at the store today. I went and ordered a bunch of animals, Elk and Bison and Skunks and Racoons to be exact. I took turns carrying each of them around the shop with me, and they are all equally heart breaking-ly adorable. And seriously, have you seen anything cuter than a box of skunks under the tree? $19/ea

So many memories in a book…

More books arrived today! Just when I squeezed the new Oliver Jeffer’s book, “Stuck” onto the shelves, a few more classics have arrived. One in particular is my personal favorite – one of my own favorite titles as a kid.

Do you remember Corduroy? Maybe it’s because I have a Dad who works with shopping centres and department stores, or maybe it’s because I was always a fan of bears, but Corduroy is as equally endearing to me now as he was then. Loved and chosen out of all the other toys for his imperfection, this book’s message continues to ring true.
