Rain City Chronicles, Story Telling for Grown Ups.

Ah Storytelling. We sure do a lot of that around the shop;

Just last month I finally attended a Rain City Chronicles event, and it was really, really great.

Keep in mind, this event is not for the children, but a great night for grown ups – an excellent date for a laugh and a drink on a cool winter night. So if you find you’ve been looking at storytime around the rocking chair here with a little bit of envy – join in for a much more sophisticated version at the Grandview Legion Hall this Thursday. (and then come see us for Liz’s opening, okay?)

Loving Leo Lionni

You know I love Leo Lionni, I use lots of his books as inspiration for our classes. Here’s what we got up to this week with one of my favorites, “Matthew’s Dream”. We made colourful paintings with 2 little paper mice walking through. I’m also sharing a link to the Lionni web site with the most lovely video of the man himself making mice. Great work everyone!

Liz-Toohey Wiese opens next Thursday!
