Somehow, magically, I’ve carved out some time to maintain my art practice and have a small show of works that opens tomorrow. I have the pleasure of running a store and gallery and sharing my favorite artists and illustrators with my customers.
A while back I had all the original drawings that Lisa Cinar did for her award winning book “The Day It All Blew Away”. It’s a favorite of mine around here, and I’ve used it several times for lesson plans. Nothing’s more fun than making a Mr Tadaa of your very own…but I digress.
Lisa is also an avid blogger, and I wanted to share her lovely posts here and here with you. She’s a big fan of well illustrated books too, especially those that include a lot of original art works; so I was delighted to read that she’s loving our current show, with works from The Elegant Cockroach.
