Two favorite things of mine;

1.Walk In/Here You Are is an amazingly inspiring project that is curated by Cate Rimmer and includes an installation by Christian Kliegel. If you haven’t been by to see a film, sing some karaoke or make an art project with the kids, you’re really missing out.

2.GUIMAUVES are the best. Seriously, you can’t have more fun listening, watching and dancing to this wonderful duo.

This weekend, SUNDAY OCTOBER 3rd from 2-4 pm Collage Collage will join forces with all these talented folks for a music show followed by an art making project all about the weather. RAIN or SHINE! Find more details on Facebook.

Come in and make a kite with artist and designer Heather Martin.

This is a workshop for adults, or children that bring an adult to help them. Registration is required, and each kite costs $20. Give me a call at the shop and I shall reserve a space for you!

We celebrated our first year all day (and into the evening!) this weekend.

Thanks to everyone who came out to try our kits, and made terrariums and dioramas, and coloured in new colouring posters, and ate cupcakes, and had some fun at Collage Collage.

One particular person told me that my shop was the “coolest store ever”.

Made my day.

Can you believe it?

The actual day was September 12th, but I wanted to have the kits ready for everyone to release on the same day so we’re celebrating our FIRST BIRTHDAY on Saturday September 18th from 1-4pm.

It doesn’t feel so long ago, all that painting, and cleaning and assembling of furniture. And then you all showed up, and brought your families and made this whole idea work.

You must come by for a cupcake and celebrate the most exciting, challenging, and rewarding year for myself and my dream come true shop. See you on the weekend.
